The ashes of YOU

I pictured you like the cigarette I hold between my fingers

You’re just like her. Your pleasure is so instant yet so ephemeral, it makes me yearn for more of you

I took the lighter and turned that body of yours on fire

I smoked every piece of you so slowly, I enjoyed every part of it

I closed my eyes and dreamt of the smell you leave in my mouth, the scent you always leave behind

I opened my eyes and you were gone, but your traces remained in the memory of my mind and the touches upon my body

I closed them again hoping for feelings to come back, hoping for your smile to appear again.

Yet, you were gone already, just like those ashes of that cigarette. YOU burned to ashes.
